The seller of the services offered in this online store (https://alvicar.lv) is SIA “A Rent”, Reg. No. LV40103723686, legal address: Mūkusalas iela 44 – 1, LV-1004, Riga, Latvia, on one side,
hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other side, enter into the following Agreement: The Seller agrees to sell and deliver to the Buyer the service (the rental of a car) in accordance with the Buyer’s order.

Delivery and payment arrangements
The Buyer places an order for services through this website, specifying the type and quantity of the service to be ordered (including additional equipment and services, if necessary). The Buyer has the option to pay for the service using the payment tools embedded in the online store or by paying the invoice prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer by email. The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature. The Seller provides the service.
delivery (the rental of a car) according to the location and time selected by the Buyer, as specified by the Buyer in the online store’s reservation system.

The renter and driver must present a driver's license. Driver's licenses from the European Union, European Economic Area, and international countries are accepted.

Payment terms

Payment can be made by credit card. The Buyer will receive a confirmation of the reservation via email.

Terms and conditions of supply of goods or services

Car delivery at the airport – 20 euros.

Order cancellation policy

Order cancellation is not allowed. 100% of the reservation amount remains with the company.

Refund

The money is returned to the buyer to the account indicated by the buyer. Money is returned within 14 days.

Procedure for resolving disputes

Disputes will be resolved in a Latvian court in accordance with Latvian legislation.

Car damage payment procedure

The amount of loss is calculated based on the car repair estimate. The losses will be deducted from the deposit.

The fee for the administration of fines is up to 90 euros.

Forbidden in the car

It is forbidden to drink, smoke, use drugs, or engage in other illegal activities in the car. The fine for these violations ranges from 100 to 1000 euros.

Can the car be taken out of the country?

The car is rented on the territory of Latvia. When traveling outside of Latvia, an additional fee of 100 euros.

Right of withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to cancel the reservation within 14 calendar days from the date of reservation by sending a cancellation letter to the Seller at the company's email address info@alvicar.lv. The Seller will send the cancellation form to the Buyer by email upon the Buyer's request. The Seller will transfer the funds to the Buyer's bank account, from which the purchase was made, no later than 2 days after receiving the cancellation.

Section 12, part six, of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that 'the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the product during the withdrawal period.' The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer the right to withdraw or to withhold a compensation fee in cases where the product is damaged, mishandled during use, or instructions are not followed, if the original packaging is lost, or if the packaging is significantly damaged.

Data processing
By entering the required information when placing the service order (car reservation), the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree that their provided data will be used by the Seller to accept the Buyer's order and deliver the service in accordance with the requirements of Latvian legislation. By entering the information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer's order will be sent to the email address provided.
